The southern hemisphere’s largest and most influential event on the processing and packaging calendar is back. Taking place between the 17th – 20th of May, AUSPACK brings together thousands of industry professionals and business leaders to test out cutting-edge equipment, technology, and solutions.

So, what can you expect at AUSPACK’s highly anticipated event this year? AUSPACK attracts over 7,000 senior executives, engineers, and technical personnel involved with the purchasing of capital equipment, machinery, and production equipment technology. The last time the event was held was in 2019, so this year’s event is going to be bigger than ever before. There will be over 350 exhibitors across 40+ verticals, including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and personal care sectors.
The event will host Solutions Seminar Theatres, which include curated sessions providing in-depth overviews of technology, solutions, and strategies. The seminars allow attendees to dive deeper into solutions and solve complex problems, particularly in relation to packaging and packing materials, processing and equipment, future manufacturing, sustainability, supply chain, preventative maintenance, packaging design, future and consumer trends, and so much more.
There will also be the highly respected AUSPACK Leaders' Forum Conference, which is sponsored by Matthews. During the conference, attendees will hear from the sharpest minds in business and industry as they share the latest thinking and explore the crucial themes affecting the future of Australian manufacturing. Topics will focus on providing an insight into what your business will look like in 3, 5, and 10 years. AUSPACK will also be hosting the APPMA Awards of Excellence, which is the national awards program for the Australian packaging and processing industry.
The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) hosts the awards ceremony, which allows the packaging and processing industry to recognize sector successes and achievements, foster innovation and collaboration, and boost the field’s visibility.
Awards being presented include the Australian Machinery Manufacturing Award (SME and Corporate), Import & Distribution Machinery Award (SME & Corporate), Packaging Design Innovation Award, Sustainability Award, Emerging Leadership Award, and Community Contribution. Matthews is a finalist for the Community Contribution award, which recognises organisations that demonstrate leadership and commitment to community wellbeing.
The awards will be presented at the APPMA Awards of Excellence Gala Dinner on May 18th from 6pm to late at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Food, beverages, and entertainment are all included in the ticket price. We’re also being told that an exciting and historic surprise announcement will be taking place that you won't want to miss!
Along with the event’s conferences, seminars, and awards ceremony, AUSPACK attendees can also look forward to a live demonstration program, where they can see the latest product innovations up close and in action.

The AUSPACK exhibition is free to attend however it does require registration, which you can do online. Tickets to the Leaders' Forum are paid and seating is limited, so make sure you book your ticket before it sells out.
